Casual Gourmet is an interactive hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up cooking experience. Designed for home cooks at all skill levels. Casual Gourmet was created for all levels of cooking skills, from novice to the experienced home cook. Our guests rave about the approachability and knowledge of our professional Chef Instructors. Small class sizes allow for individual attention, so each guest has the opportunity to learn at their own pace, our focus is on culinary techniques and casual cooking fun.
Upon entering the kitchen your group will divided into small teams of four or five. Casual Gourmet is a sleeves rolled up, hands-on culinary experience, we want to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to participate.
When cooking is complete, your group will be seated to enjoy their meal and savor the success of their accomplishment. Each guest receives a keepsake Casual Gourmet apron and copies of the recipes for each dish that is prepared
We will work with your event coordinator and offer a list of menu ideas for you to consider. You are not limited to the menus on the list. Your Chef Instructor will custom create a menu based on your groups’ preferences; from international cuisine to regional dishes. The three-course menu typically features appetizers, entrées with side dishes and a dessert. You will have the opportunity to approve the menu in advance.
We want you to be comfortable and safe in our industrial kitchens so please plan to wear casual attire, long pants, flat rubber-soled, closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.
